Tree Climbing Organization Takes Tree Hugging To A New Level

ATLANTA (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – How would you like to get your zzz’s in the trees?

Pat Jenkins of Tree Climbers International – an organization that teaches the sport of tree climbing – says the world is a lot different up in a tree, and definitely recommends sleeping in one.

She says with the proper training, you can easily climb a tall tree, set up a hammock-like “tree boat” and snooze amongst the stars and squirrels – safely strapped in of course.

Jenkins reveals an amazing thing happened to her after spending a night 167 feet up in a tree.

She calls the experience “fabulous” and says things got even better in the morning when her then boyfriend, Peter “Treeman” Jenkins – the founder of Tree Climbers International – dropped down from the tree and proposed to her.

Because of the couple’s obvious love for trees, Jenkins says, “Oh yeah, we’re tree huggers...You can’t be a tree climber without being a tree hugger!”
