Cheryl Hines Hopes New Show Inspires College Drinking Game

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Some TV producers want their shows to win Emmys, but actress Cheryl Hines would be happy if her new show becomes a drinking game.

Hines – who plays Larry David’s wife on Curb Your Enthusiasm – is also the producer of Campus Ladies, a new sitcom about two fortysomething women who decide to go back to college and do all the things – and guys – they missed the first time around.

The show debuts Sunday (Jan. 8) on the Oxygen network and Hines believes the concept of “middle-aged women doing stupid things in college” should appeal to the network’s female-oriented audience and frat boys alike.

Especially because there are quotes that already lend themselves to drinking games, such as the main characters’ motto: “We’re hot nude ladies.”

However, Hines also predicts at least one term from the show will become part of the national lexicon: “moped.”

That’s a term that a football player calls one of the ladies after sex, and he defines it as, “Something you’d like to ride but don’t want to be seen on it by your friends.”
