Thats how New York author Judy Reiser calls it after interviewing nearly 500 people for her new book, In a Cell Phone Minute (Andrews-McMeel), which is a collection of wacky, romantic and weird cell phone stories.
For instance, Reiser talked to one lady who found a picture on her cell phone of her boyfriend holding up a sign that read, Will you marry me?
Then theres the woman who thought she lost her cell phone only to find it a few weeks later in a floor model sofa, which she bought and had delivered to her house.
Finally, a man told Reiser his cell phone helped him escape having his car impounded as a police officer was busting him for not having the car registered. The man registered it on the spot via his phone, but the cop still gave him the ticket.
In a Cell Phone Minute, which is shaped like a flip-up cell phone, is currently in stores.
