Bruce Campbell: A Case Of Incurably Arrested Development

PORTLAND, Ore. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Bruce Campbell is the latest celebrity to profess he’s sick. Luckily, the only thing he suffers from is a serious, incurable case of arrested development.

Campbell got the disorder when he was eight and it dawned on him then that if he became an actor he’d be able to “screw around for my entire life....That’s the absolute truth.”

His first show business efforts were Super-8 films he made with his buddies and he claims that ever since he went professional with the 1983 cult hit, Evil Dead, his philosophy has been to do work that feels like he’s still making those home movies.

Campbell thinks he succeeded with his latest project, Man With The Screaming Brain, which is his directorial debut.

The plot is about a banker brought back to life by a mad scientist who has merged the banker’s brain with that of a KGB-spy-turned cabbie.

Man With The Screaming Brain debuts Sept. 10 on the Sci Fi Channel and Campbell describes it as “The Out Of Towners with a brain transplant.”
