Cartoonist Devouring Real Fast-Food Experiences For Strip

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Some fast-food restaurant experiences can be a gas, but one syndicated cartoonist wants to find out if there are also some giggles.

Mark Pett, whose Lucky Cow comic strip is syndicated in about 75 newspapers U.S.-wide, is searching for the best fast- food fiasco story to become part of a comic strip for Lucky Cow, which centers around a father and daughter running a fast-food franchise.

He’s especially interested in real stories involving overworked, underpaid employees, the food itself or someone’s own personal folly.

For example, Pett once worked at a fast-food franchise and had a co-worker who kept changing her name badge every hour. He asked her why and she replied, “It’s in case someone calls in and complains.”

Interested folks are asked to submit entries by Sept. 5 to and the winner’s story will show up in a Lucky Cow comic strip by Thanksgiving.
