Odds Are McNabb Won’t Stay Healthy

MIAMI (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Donovan McNabb just can’t stay away from a curse.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback, who has been a victim of the Campbell’s Chunky Soup Curse, is now under the Madden Curse.

This year, McNabb graces the cover of the football video game, Madden NFL, which each year features one prominent player on the game’s cover.

Appearing on the cover is said to bring on consecutive weeks of injury – with Daunte Culpepper, Michael Vick and Marshall Faulk, who have appeared on previous editions and been injured shortly after, cited as proof.

McNabb’s so-called “honor” is worrying a lot of people including oddsmakers such as sportsinteraction.com, a sports betting website, which is giving 2 to 1 odds that McNabb will miss one to four weeks due to injury this season and 5 to 1 odds he will miss five to nine games.

Meanwhile, Bodog.com is giving even odds that McNabb will miss more than one consecutive game in a row due to injury.
