Comedian Strives To Be Equal Opportunity Offender

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Comedian Carlos Mencia is truly an equal opportunity offender.

In fact, audience members get offended if he doesn’t offend them during his shows.

As Mencia puts it, “The main complaint I get isn’t ‘I can’t believe you said that.’ It’s I can’t believe you DIDN’T make fun of my people.’”

He figures it’s because everybody wants to feel included.

Well, maybe not everyone. Mencia’s favorite “fan” letter came from a guy who called him a “racist spic” in one line and then concluded the letter with “Sincerely Yours.”

Mencia will have a chance to offend more people than ever thanks to his new Comedy Central series, Mind Of Mencia, which debuts tomorrow (Jul. 7) .

He promises people of all persuasions that if you feel left out after the first show, don’t worry because he’ll “get to you soon.”
