Quitting Smoking A Real Stretch For Eliza Dushku

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Quitting smoking has been a real stretch for actress Eliza Dushku, who credits yoga with helping her break the habit.

The 24-year-old started smoking when she was 14 and has been trying to wean herself from the cancer sticks since she was 17.

In fact, Dushku says the cigarette habit has led her down a slippery slope of sin, since she “used to steal Camel non- filters from a family member” in order to get her fix.

Quitting wasn’t easy for the Tru Calling star – especially because some acting roles require her to light up – but she says regular yoga and nicotine patches have helped ease her cravings.

Now, she’s encouraging others by holding an anti-smoking yoga class today (Jun. 29) in Los Angeles.

Dushku will help 100 smokers by leading them through poses such as “the wheel,” a real back-bender which she says opens up the chest and the lungs.

To help her cause, the smoking hot Dushku will personally autograph her yoga mat and auction it off on eBay.
