Ray Romano And Kevin James Prefer Golfing To Giggles

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Funnymen Ray Romano and Kevin James would rather be golfing than cracking jokes – especially if they can do it with the PGA’s best players.

That’s why the Everybody Loves Raymond and King Of Queens stars always make it to the famed Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Romano’s reasons for teeing off are simple: He knows he’ll never play in the World Series but a golfer who makes the cut at Pebble Beach has the chance to play in the final round of a major pro event.

He’s been hooked on Pebble Beach for six years and James has been doing it for three. The duo’s experiences during last February’s tournament are chronicled in an HBO special, Ray Romano And Kevin James: Making The Cut, which debuts tomorrow (Jun. 18).

For James, the big thrill of Pebble Beach is “when you hook a ball into the other fairway, you get to apologize to guys like Freddy Couples.”
