“Bug Guy” Worming His Way Into America’s Heart

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – When Barry Murray says his job bugs him, he really it.

That’s because Murray, who is the corporate spokesman for the Truly Nolen extermination company in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, is known as “The Bug Guy.”

Being “The Bug Guy” means Murray has to do a lot of crazy things to create a buzz around the community.

For instance, Murray once had killer bees sting him through his leather jacket to show TV viewers what it looks like to be covered in 100,000 stingers.

Another time, Murray brought a display case of bees to a TV station and they accidently escaped in the conference room, and he had to round them up.

Murray’s also known for whipping up grub made with grub worms, crickets and other creepy crawlers.

These days, drivers in Florida might see Murray driving the company’s new limousine: A customized stretch Volkswagen Bug designed to look like a giant rat.
