Baseball Road Trip Looking For Sport’s Die-Hard Fans

GLENDALE, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Survivor is meeting America’s Pastime in a new contest that is looking for baseball die-hards who can travel to and survive 60 games in 60 days.

The winning two-person team of The Best Road Trip Ever essay contest will be shuttled to games by bus from Los Angeles to New York during July and August where they will host tailgate parties and soak in enough baseball to last several lifetimes.

The trip won’t be all about suds, hotdogs and Cracker Jacks though.

In each city, the pair must complete a challenge like taking a long swim in the frigid waters of McCovey Cove in San Francisco.

If the duo completes all the challenges, they will get the chance to take batting practice against a yet-to-be identified “legendary pitcher” in Yankee Stadium at the end of the season.

Interested tandems can send in their entries to babyruth.com until May 27 where they must describe in 500 words or less their passion for the sport.
