Kramer Reality Tour Celebrates 10th Anniversary (Mar. 19)

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – You might have St. Patrick’s Day on the brain but Saturday (Mar. 19) will be “Kramer Day” in New York.

That’s because Kenny Kramer, the real-life inspiration for the Kramer character on Seinfeld, is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the first day he starting doing his “Seinfeld Reality Tours.”

No one is more surprised than Kramer. He says the tour is the longest thing he’s ever done in his life and is amazed he’s been doing it longer than the original series was on the air.

Saturday’s tour has been booked for weeks and Kramer says the fans will be getting him at his best because he’s just back from a 7-week vacation in Cabo San Lucas, where he spent time eating tacos and fishing.

But even there he couldn’t avoid his Seinfeld connection.

As he puts it, “The manager of the Costcos in Mexico told me the Seinfeld DVDs are the most popular in the whole country.”

Kramer doesn’t know how long he’ll keep doing his tour but figures he’ll continue until it’s stops being fun. In his words, “There’s nothing like seeing the looks on the people’s faces when they see the diner for the first time.”
