Contest Sniffing Out Stinkiest Pets In U.S.

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The makers of a pet deodorizer are causing a stink over a contest to find America’s stinkiest pet.

SeaYu Enterprises, which makes the Petrotech Odor Eliminator, has just launched an essay contest for pet owners to convince judges their furball is the “Stinkiest Pet in America.”

So far, submissions have come in from an Arizona cat owner whose part-Asian leopard Bengal named “Peanut” drops its dookie wherever it likes, then rubs its butt up against the walls and furniture.

Then there’s a Pekingese owner in New York who claims her pooch eats its own poop, then licks the carpet and rubs its butt on the carpet, imbedding the smell into rugs from both ends.

Finally, there’s one family from Oregon who rehabilitates orphaned baby skunks, and just this past year the orphans have returned to live under the family’s house and barn, creating quite a stink.

The deadline to submit an essay at is July 31. The first place winner will receive $300.
