‘Trash Couture’ Designer Has Garbage Bag Ballgowns For Oscar Nominees

HOLLYWOOD (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If any of this year’s Oscar-nominated actresses haven’t decided what to wear on Tinsel Town’s big night, a Hollywood rocker who moonlights as a garbage bag dress designer has some eye-catching suggestions.

Singer Roxy Saint, whose “trash couture” line recently had its first fashion show, says she could make Best Actress nominee Hilary Swank look red carpet ready in a black trash bag that has been taped, painted and pinned to look like the medical bandage-like outfit Milla Jovovich wore in The Fifth Element.

Saint would top the skin-revealing gown with a vest-like coat that falls to the knee – also made from a garbage bag.

Meanwhile, the designer says she’d like to make a tuxedo out of trash bags for nominee Cate Blanchett, using cardboard in the elbows and shoulders of the top to shape it like a suit jacket.

Finally, Saint would create a garbage bag ballgown to make nominee Annette Bening look like a queen, with a long train, fitted high waistline and low neckline held up with a plastic bag drawstring.
