NFL Stars Toss Meat Instead Of Balls

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Tomorrow (Feb. 3), players from the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles will be warming up for the Super Bowl by tossing meat instead of balls.

Patriots cornerback Ty Law and Eagles running back Correll Buckhalter will be in Jacksonville, Fla., to participate in a Super Bowl pre-game burger “grill-off” where they have to complete a wacky obstacle course to earn the ingredients to make their burgers.

For instance, they’ll have to toss five one-pound steaks onto a sizzling grill, and each one they land will earn them a burger component like ground beef, buns, mustard, cheese or bacon.

Then there’s the “Pork Pass,” where the players must hurl a five-pound pork roast for distance, with the longest haul earning one ingredient.

After the meat tossing, they’ll get to show their grilling skills, with one side winning the best burger bragging rights along with a grill from Weber – the sponsor of the event.
