LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Nothing gets a dork’s heart racing like a sexy Star Wars stormtrooper stripping down to her skivvies.The Devil’s Playground burlesque group features sultry dancers who shimmy to nerd-themed stripteases.
In the past, babes have hit the stage in costumes like Princess Peach from Super Mario Bros. and C- 3PO from Star Wars, which consisted of gold body paint and nipple tassels.
Founder and performer Courtney Cruz says the shows are a geek’s wet dream, and she should know since she’s a proud “geek at heart.”
Though most dorks love the shows for their sexiness and clever references, some get way too caught up in the details.
Cruz laughs, “Some people will be like, ‘The costuming isn’t correct. The helmet isn’t proportional to whatever.’ But then someone will be like, ‘Dude! There’s boobs and hot girls! What’s wrong with you?’”
