Ride A High-Powered Dolphin

Tuesday, January 26, 2010 17:22 GMT

SHASTA LAKE, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Flipper might have been faster than lightning, but he’s got nothing on one high-powered dolphin.

Innespace Productions lets extreme sports enthusiasts swim like a dolphin with their Seabreacher watercrafts, which are shaped like dolphins and allow passengers to ride the waves as a real life flipper would.

Riders can dive, jump, roll, and glide through water at high- speeds and truly get the sense of being inside a dolphin.

Co-founder Rob Innes says that by shaping the vehicle like the sea creature it brings “more aliveness” to the experience, though he hasn’t heard of any real life dolphins being confused by the watercrafts.

He hopes to one day start a Seabreacher racing league where people can race the vehicles through obstacle courses and show off their best tricks.

It shouldn’t be hard to get adventure seekers on board since driving the dolphins is like “driving a monster truck in water.”
