Aerosith is a Star Wars parody band made up of costumed guys who perform rock songs about the sci-fi staple.
Frontman Billy Davis – aka “The Emperor” – says the group pays homage to the bad guys of Star Trek – the Sith – because “they never win.”
They perform 15-minute sets at conventions that include ditties like “Stop Making Special Editions” – directed at George Lucas – and “I Need A Galaxy To Conquer.”
They also have a song called “Strike Me Down” to tune of Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way.”
But there’s more to their shows than killer music.
Davis says they also perform comedic skits within songs featuring intense Lightsaber battles and confrontations with cardboard cut-outs of the good guys.
Occasionally, they even behead the props as secret Sith fans cheer on.
Davis admits band meetings usually take place at bars because they come up with funnier ideas for skits after a couple drinks.
