That’s the hair-raising truth from Jersey Shore castmate DJ Pauly D who says his No. 1 concern during filming was whether his spikey locks were perfectly in place.
In fact, he admits he packed a whole case of hair gel for the summer at the Shore to ensure his fancy follicles were sky-high and secure – but even that wasn’t enough.
Pauly says his female roommates – aka “guidettes” – kept trying to steal his gel, so he ended up having to swipe some of their hair products in return.
The tan reality star says the quickest way to spot a wannabe at the Shore is to check out what’s up top.
He explains, “If they have messy hair or it’s not kept up then that’s no good – it has to be perfect.”
