What Do Astronauts Really Do In Space?

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Outer space can’t always be as exciting as NASA would like us to believe.

That’s the premise behind actor/writer Rob McElhenney’s latest project, Boldly Going Nowhere, a comedy series that looks at the day-to-day operations of astronauts living on a spacecraft.

The It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia funnyman says it’s about time the mundane aspects of life in space were revealed, like how astronauts keep themselves entertained between the action.

He says, “It’s gotta be pretty frickin’ boring up there. How do you deal with sitting in a ship all day? What are they eating? Who’s doing the laundry? And what is the deal with those f■■■ing skin-tight uniforms?”

McElhenney promises to explore issues like how astronauts go to the bathroom and why everyone on a spacecraft is always so damn attractive.

The pilot’s release is unknown, but McElhenney can currently be seen on Sunny Thursdays on FX.
