No Coke At Mega Disco

BUFFALO, N.Y. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Disco isn’t dead, but it’s not the coked up sex party it used to be.

That’s the case at The World’s Largest Disco, a huge, ’70s-style disco dance party being held at the Buffalo Convention Center in New York tomorrow (Nov. 28).

The event, in its 16th year, brings 7,000 platform-wearing, leisure suit-clad partiers to boogie down to disco classics, proving once and for all that disco is not dead.

Organizer Dave Pietrowski says folks have a great time at the ’70s party because disco always has and always will be “happy music.”

Though they attempt to keep the festivities as accurate to the days of bellbottoms and afros as possible, The World’s Largest Disco is no Studio 54 when it comes to crazy, illegal antics.

Says Pietrowski: “It’s certainly fun, but I don’t think we’ll see celebrities snorting coke in the back alley.”
