Last week, the Kelloggs factory in Atlanta, Georgia, suffered a massive flood which has affected the production of Eggo frozen waffles.
This has sent waffle lovers into a hysterical panic since the company released a statement saying there will be little or no waffles on shelves until mid 2010.
Breakfast expert Eddie Chavey, also known as Mr. Breakfast, is easing waffle fans fears by letting them know that the lack of waffles in the freezer aisle is actually a blessing in disguise.
He says, The shortage will make people re-appreciate waffles and start making their own homemade ones. They taste better than frozen ones.
Mr. Breakfast thinks the deficit will give people the opportunity to leggo their Eggos and vary their morning meal.
For those still in panic mode, theres a recipe for the best waffles ever on mrbreakfast.com.
