NFL Moms Tackle The Bulge

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – NFL players are supposed to be the beefy ones – not their moms.

According to former NFL running back Eddie George, NFL moms often pack on the pounds due to all the snack-filled tailgating parties and busy lifestyle of following their sons on the road.

George and his wife are contributors on The Dr. Oz Show, where they’re challenging 20 AFC and NFC moms to get in shape by Super Bowl Sunday.

The mamas include George’s own mother, Charger Shaun Phillips’ mom, and Donovan McNabb’s mom.

George is coaching them to change their health, nutrition, and fitness habits, and so far, they’ve all lost weight.

The NFL moms are just as competitive as their sons.

George says they’re upholding football rivalries by trash-talking, jokingly calling each other fat.

It only motivates them to keep working hard like their boys do.

George will give updates on the moms today (Nov. 11) and throughout the challenge on Dr. Oz.
