Skinner, the down-home chicken farmer from Kentucky who won AGT this past Wednesday (Sep. 16), used to sing to the chickens he once wrangled to perfect his pipes.
He recalls singing out on the farms, especially at night when ideas for tunes would pop into his head.
Hed serenade the chicks and his fellow farmers, whod sometimes join in.
Though he got his start singing outdoors and at tiny cafes, Skinner is excited to conquer his big, headlining venue in Las Vegas.
He promises to give folks the best performance I can in Sin City, and may even wear his signature backwards hat on stage so fans still think of him as an everyday, working-class man.
As for his beloved Kentucky chickens, the only chick Skinner foresees in his future as a successful singer is his wife.
