‘Wizards’ Actor Has Fans Under Spell

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Disney Channel actor David Henrie has a legion of fans under his spell.

Henrie, who plays wizard Justin Russo on Wizards Of Waverly Place, has an influx of fans begging him to cast spells on them.

Younger viewers often believe he has real wizard powers and request random spells from him as seen on TV.

The only problem is, Henrie doesn’t know where to begin casting an actual spell.

Instead, he does his best to satisfy fans by busting out his go-to magic trick – the classic “floating thumb” illusion, where his thumb appears to be disconnected from his hand.

But even if he did have real powers to fall back on, he’d only use them to “mess around” in his spare time, like making a soda float to him while plopped on the couch.

Henrie and the Wizards crew will be at Disney’s D23 Expo this Sunday (Sep. 13) at the Anaheim Convention Center discussing the show.
