Laid Off? Reuse Old Business Cards

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Those who’ve been laid off can still put their old business cards to good use.

On cardsofchange.com, laid off workers submit pictures of their old business cards, fully remastered.

Many cross off their old contact info and handwrite in their new number and email, adding illustrations or positive messages.

One guy stapled a bunch of old cards together to make a massive business card that reads, “Started My Own Damn Agency.”

Another man decided to travel after getting fired and folded his old business card into an origami airplane that reads, “I’m flying away.”

Website creator Tom Van Daele says the remastered cards represent hope for the future and folks moving on.

Van Daele says the cards help people network on his site, and he’s even hired a few people himself based on their submissions.

He thinks reusing old business cards shows one’s ability to be resourceful and creative, two great qualities in an employee.
