‘It’s Always Sunny’ Couple Use Set For Therapy

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Hating each other at work can do wonders for a marriage.

Just ask Kaitlin Olson, who stars on It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia alongside her real life husband, Rob McElhenney.

At home, they love each other, but onscreen, they play bitter frienemies who are constantly yelling and badgering one another.

Though Olson admits her husband is “very irritating” when he’s in character, bickering on TV is like marriage therapy for the duo.

Because they get to scream on set, they don’t fight much at home, which is why they get along so well.

The minute shooting wraps for the day, Olson begs her hubby to snap out of A-hole mode and back to himself.

In return, she lets McElhenney continue his “bromance” with co-stars Glenn Howerton, Charlie Day, and Danny DeVito.

Says Olson: “I promised early on not to Yoko Ono their relationship!”

The fifth season of Sunny premieres September 17 on FX.
