To be believable, Galecki and co-star Jim Parsons have done some much-needed research in geekery at UCLA, visiting the greatest minds in physics and science on campus.
However, the actors have come to the conclusion that trying to be instant scientists is impossible.
Galecki explains, We learned quickly like in 20 minutes that theres no way we can think like these people. These are special minds with years of expensive education.
Instead, he chooses to portray the easier traits of nerdom on TV, seen in the professors behaviors, idiosyncrasies, and most importantly, his dweeby wardrobe.
