The creator of King Of The Hill, Beavis And Butt-Head, and Office Space once worked as a temp alphabetizing purchase orders.
The mundane job was mental torture for Judge who would dream about alphabetizing things in his sleep after work.
Unlike his other boring gigs such as working in a cafeteria or doing construction, Judge says he couldnt daydream on the job and had to be on point while reciting his ABCs.
Later, Judge experienced physical torture when he took up a job moving 200-pound chain link fences.
He also dabbled in engineering, where he got much of the workplace woes inspiration for Office Space.
He explains, I had five passive-aggressive bosses always breathing down my neck and no rapport with anybody. It was awful.
Judge explores workplace angst once again in his factory comedy Extract, out September 4.
