Footwear Fit For Gold Diggers

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Finally, gold diggers have a way to hunt for treasure in style.

Treasure seekers can now get rid of their bulky metal detectors when they hit the beach in search for forgotten jewelry and coins thanks to Hammacher Schlemmer’s Metal Detecting Sandals.

The summer footwear has a copper coil built into the right sandal and is powered by a battery pack that straps to the calf, allowing folks to find buried artifacts while taking a stroll without their plan being detected.

Spokesperson Bree O’Day says, “It’s like a less tacky way to scour the beach. It’s always funny seeing those people with the big metal detectors on the beach.”

Though no one has found any diamonds or gold coins as of yet, O’Day ensures that the company tests all their products so users are sure to find treasure IF it’s in the ground.

She hopes people get their money’s worth from the sandals, but if not, O’Day says they pay back in fun.
