McDermott – who’s also an aspiring motorcycle racer – says he’d like his breadwinner wife to take a breather from her duties and try her hand at motorbike racing.
Spelling, however, isn’t too keen on hitting the speedway.
The actress says she’d be scared to drive a hog and would rather take up a safer hobby like scrapbooking instead, which she’s always saying she’ll get around to.
The duo are busy starting businesses and doing their reality show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, which premieres its new season tonight (May 26) on Oxygen, so they’re not sure when they’ll have time to try new things.
But if motorcycle racing doesn’t pan out, McDermott reveals he’d like to be a stand-up comic – the reason he broke into showbiz in the first place.
Spelling jokes that she’d “support” her hubby by sitting in the audience and heckling him.
