‘Terminator: Salvation’ Actor Is No Psycho

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – You won’t catch one actor from the new film Terminator: Salvation getting violent, unless there’s traffic.

Despite starring in the upcoming Terminator sequel as an evil opponent to Christian Bale’s character, Chris Ashworth assures he’s a friendly Southern fella.

He says, “My character is violent and psychotic. Not the kind of guy you want to go out with. I’m definitely not like that. I’m filled with Southern hospitality.”

But Ashworth says he “doesn’t mind getting physical” as a mixed martial arts fighter and that he had fun playing a character that allowed him to “Get all the rage out from being in Los Angeles traffic.”

Though he wasn’t on set to witness Christian Bale’s now infamous verbal tirade against the film’s cinematographer, Ashworth says it was uncalled for and says that if Bale went off on him he could handle himself.

Terminator: Salvation hits theaters May 21.
