Carnie Wilson Hopes For Game Show Drama

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Carnie Wilson is keeping her fingers crossed for major drama, fighting, and goofs on the set of her new gig.

Wilson is hosting a modern-day version of The Newlywed Game premiering this April on GSN.

She’s been “obsessed with game shows” her entire life and admits her favorite part of the old Newlyweds Game with Bob Eubanks was when wives and husbands fought on stage.

She laughs, “I loved it when the wives would slap the husbands in the face with the answer cards! I want that drama on my version!”

Wilson hopes the crazy newlywed arguments become a staple on her show too because they represent a “human side to marriage.”

She’s also looking forward to asking racy, awkward questions.

Though she was too young to understand what Eubanks’ phrase “making whoopee” meant, she’s fully ready to ask couples about their sex lives.

Wilson says it’d be “awesome” to repeat the infamous blooper from the original Newlyweds Game where Eubanks asked a female contestant, “Where’s the weirdest place you’ve ever gotten the urge to make whoopee?” and the contestant answered, “In the a.”
