‘Zoey 101’ Actor Told To Repent For His Sins

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It’s not often that a priest tells a teen actor to repent for his sins and find Jesus.

That’s exactly what happened to Zoey 101 actor Matthew Underwood when a priest sent him a message on MySpace condemning him for his character’s “mean, arrogant, and egotistical ways.”

Underwood – who played bratty Logan Reese on the Nickelodeon series – was shocked by the email.

He says, “The priest told me that if I didn’t stop being mean on the show, there was going to be a price to pay. I was like, ‘Are you kidding me? I’m told what to say in my scripts! I’m not really like that!’”

That’s not the first time viewers have blurred the lines between Underwood’s character and his real personality.

One time a little girl kicked him in the shins and yelled, “I don’t like you, you’re mean!”

He tried to chase her down to clear things up, but the kid kept screaming, “Oh my God! Logan’s trying to kill me!”
