Singer Becomes Legend In Christmas Light Circles

MANCHESTER, N.H. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Hardcore Christmas fanatics rejoice when they hear one singer’s jolly jingle.

About 10 years ago, singer Judy Pancoast recorded a song about crazy Christmas light displays called “The House On Christmas Street.”

Her ditty has since sparked a frenzy among Christmas decorating fanatics all over the world who like to synchronize their light displays to the beat of Pancoast’s song.

She’s seen Internet videos of synchronized displays from Australia, Canada, Japan, and the United Kingdom, and even heard of a man who rigged up 300,000 Christmas lights to go along with her song.

Because of her cult hit, Pancoast has become a legend in Christmas decking circles and constantly gets fanmail and autograph requests from devoted decorators.

She’s become a bit of a Christmaholic herself over the last decade, but isn’t nearly as good as the pros.

Pancoast decks out her yard with lights, a nativity set, and blow molds – blow-up Santas and snowmen – but admits, “It’s hard to get my husband to help!”
