Flute Is Homies With Rap Music

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The flute doesn’t necessarily blow, in fact, it’s a dope enough instrument to be featured in rap songs.

That’s the tune from Andrea Fisher, a.k.a. Fluterscooter, a New York-based musician who cruises the city on her scooter – rain or shine – with a flute strapped to her back.

Fluterscooter has played her flute alongside rapper 50 Cent, and wants people to know that the band geek instrument is actually cool.

She praises the versatility of the flute and says it flows well with any type of music, not just classical.

She discovered the power of the woodwind when she began playing it along to different ditties on the radio, from pop and rock music to rap.

She says rap music sounds even better against the backdrop of her flute.

Fluterscooter hopes people can see past the “nerdiness” of the instrument and finally give it props.

She may have to raise awareness by figuring out a way to simultaneously play her flute while riding her scooter around the Big Apple.
