Jesus ‘Not Too Bright’ For Turning Water Into Wine

VASHON ISLAND, Wash. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If Jesus had never turned water into wine, maybe a booze ban wouldn’t be necessary.

That’s according to Prohibition Party leader Preacher Gene Amondson, who says liquor is the root of America’s problems.

Amondson says booze is evil and that Jesus “wasn’t too bright” for turning water into wine back in the old days.

He believes in banning all booze across America, and is currently running for president against John McCain and Barack Obama, hoping the Prohibition Party gets supporters.

Amondson says banning booze could restabilize the economy because, in his words, “If stupid people aren’t buying booze, they can buy clothes, shoes, food, and farms.”

He hates how liquor “makes people violent” and doesn’t understand why people drink since “alcohol doesn’t even taste good.”

Amondson will take a strong stance against alcohol on October 17 during his “Dump It! Demonstration” in Arizona, where he’ll protest John McCain’s family ties to liquor distributor Anheuser-Busch by dumping bottles of booze onto the streets.
