Republicans Wear White After Labor Day (Sep. 1)

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Republicans may break an old- fashioned fashion rule at the Republican National Convention this year (Sep. 1-4).

Despite the RNC taking place on Labor Day (Sep. 1) and the days following, fashion expert Mark-Evan Blackman says Red-state delegates will boldly wear white at the event without fashion fear.

He explains, “We’ll see lots of white pants with loafers and blazers there. Wearing white at the convention will say ‘I’m casual, I’m young, and I’m aware that these are white pants.’”

Blackman says it “takes extreme confidence” to wear white to the RNC because it’s a such a serious event, and it’s after Labor Day.

However, presidential candidate John McCain won’t be showing off his ability to lead the White House by wearing a white suit during his speech.

He says, “I don’t think he’ll take the fashion risk. He wouldn’t look ridiculous, but he’s trying to look presidential. White is a bit too casual for that.”

Luckily for McCain, Blackman doesn’t think nixing a white outfit will affect him in the polls.
