Actor Reunites With His Carbon Copy

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – For one Emmy-winning actor, meeting the exact carbon copy of himself was meant to be.

Jay Thomas – who appeared on Murphy Brown and Cheers – recently got a blast from the past when he was reunited with the son he gave up for adoption 28 years ago.

According to Thomas, father and son were fated to find each other.

Apparently, Thomas and his son, JT, crossed paths in Los Angeles various times, with JT even heckling his pops during one of his hosting gigs.

They even lived and worked within half a mile of one another.

Thomas says, “He saw me constantly. It seems like a movie, but it’s true.”

Finally meeting his musician son was “amazing” and “bizarre” for Thomas because it was like meeting the younger version of himself.

He says, “He looks like me and acts like me. I mean, he’s me when I was 28 years old.”

Thomas is so taken with how great his kid turned out, he says, “I’m thinking of sending my other two kids to be raised by J.T.s parents.”
