Laurence Fishburne Can Stomach Corpses

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Examining dead corpses doesn’t freak out actor Laurence Fishburne.

Fishburne – who’s joining the cast of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in its ninth season – says he’s excited to star in the “dark and moody” show and isn’t worried about tossing his cookies while examining actual dead bodies.

According to show producers, actors joining the cast go through a morbid hazing, in which they’re taken to a local morgue to witness a live autopsy.

Though the trip promises a lot of gore, Fishburne says he’s “ready and game” for the experience, and is even excited to check out the corpses.

Though he’s not sure if watching a live autopsy will improve his on-screen investigative skills, Fishburne thinks it can improve his gag reflex.

He says, “I think I have a pretty strong stomach, but I’m sure it will be better after this. I’m well prepared to enter into this show, and I’m looking forward to its challenges.”
