Nelson Mandela Gets Gift From Tiny Talent

STREETLY, England (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One pint-sized performer looks forward to wowing a “very special man.”

Seven-year-old British singing sensation Connie Talbot – who was runner-up on last season of Britain’s Got Talent – will be performing at the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund Gala tomorrow (Jul. 16).

The little songstress is excited to sing for the man her mummy and daddy have taught her all about.

She says, “They told me he’s really famous and a very special man.”

Connie plans on singing Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds” and her favorite song, “Over the Rainbow,” for the beloved freedom leader, but she won’t be needing luck to perform.

She explains, “I don’t get nervous at all. I’ve got my lucky bracelet, but I don’t wear it anymore.”

Though the talented tyke is a national star in Britain, Connie says her friends “don’t really take any notice” of her fame, and admits that she likes it that way.
