Wannabe Rockers Get Schooled By Rock Gods

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Rock legends are finally giving wannabe musicians a chance to be with the band.

Rock ’N’ Roll Fantasy Camp is a traveling rock school that features the coolest counselors ever: Guns N’ Roses’ Gilby Clark and AC/DC drummer Chris Slade.

Attendees can learn to become the ultimate rockstar from the industry’s heavy hitters and how to jam on the axe like an old pro.

Camp counselor Dave Ellefson, of the metal band Megadeth, says camp-goers also get a crash course in rockstar swagger.

He says, “It’s not just about staring at your instrument all night. The biggest part is walking on the stage in front of thousands of people without freaking out, and giving a performance. Get out there and do windmills like Angus Young [from AC/DC].”

Ellefson also passes on some bad boy tips to campers, like how to hit on groupies and trash hotel rooms, but says the knowledge will be “at their expense.”

The Fantasy Camp tour kicks off today (July 9) in Pryor, Oklahoma. For upcoming venues, check out
