Go-Go Green: Dance To Save The World

LONDON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – An eco-friendly organization in London has partiers dancing to save the world.

Club4Climate is getting the party started for planet Earth by creating sustainable nightclubs powered by the energy of party- goers.

The first green nightclub, which is called Surya, launches in London on July 10, where music and lighting will be generated by solar panels, wind turbines, and energy materials embedded in the dance floor, which are sparked by foot-stomping dance moves.

Creator Andrew Charalambous says, “Young people will literally be dancing to save the world. Clubbing is the most energy consuming activity on the planet, and we’re using it to restore our relationship with the planet.”

The eco-disco is decorated and furnished with recycled materials, including newspaper and wire, and will serve up bio beers and free trade wine to thirsty partiers.

They’ll also grant free entry to anyone who shows up to party by foot, bike, or public transportation.
