Artist Wants You To Pay For His Play

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Vacations aren’t cheap, so one artist is letting you pay for his.

Justin Gignac wants a lot of things, and he’ll let you buy them for him on his website, where he sells original paintings of things he wants, like buffalo wings, a months rent, or a video game, for their exact retail price, and then buys those things for himself with your money.

Tomorrow (May 16), Gignac is opening up bids for his latest want, a Las Vegas vacation for him and his girlfriend.

Among the 18 paintings for sale are portraits depicting their flights, hotel room, and all-you-can-eat buffets.

He even has one piece called “$1000 to Bet on Black,” where he’ll put the money down on black in a game of roulette and give the buyer $500 if he wins.

But Gignac isn’t just looking for a freebie vacation.

He says, “It isn’t really a free vacation. I thought, ‘I totally want to go to Vegas. Why not paint it?,’ but I took six weeks off work. It’s not the easiest way to get a trip.”
