Politician Unveils Inner Picasso

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One politician hopes to get artsy in the White House.

Matt Gonzalez, who’s Ralph Nader’s presidential running mate for the Independent Party in the upcoming election, wants to show the world his other love: art.

Gonzalez will be exhibiting his work – which consists of collages pieced together from objects like ticket stubs, postcards, and postal packaging – today (May 15) at Johansson Projects Back Gallery in Oakland, California.

The political Picasso isn’t against using his art to gain voters.

He says, “I’ll never reject a voter. I would be surprised if anyone saw my collages and wanted to vote for me based on that, but I’ll take the vote.”

If elected, Gonzalez plans to increase government spending on the arts and hold monthly art shows at the White House.

He may also spruce up the walls of the White House.

He explains, “If Ralph wanted to put one of my pieces up, I’d be fine with that.”
