‘Survivor’ Winner Isn’t A Knockout With Everyone

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Survivor winner Parvati Shallow knocked out the competition, but there are some people who wouldn’t mind taking a swing at her.

This past Sunday (May 11), Shallow – a former boxer – took home the $1 million prize on the season finale of Survivor: Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites, and since she’s been back in her hometown of Los Angeles, she’s been getting some strong reactions from loyal Survivor watchers.

Shallow – who competed on Survivor: Cook Islands – says, “People either love me or hate me, there’s no in between. Sassy old ladies love me for keeping all the girls together on the show. But little girls hate me for voting out Ozzy [Lusth]. And there’s other people that hate me and throw things at me.”

But Shallow – who’s putting her million dollars towards Knockout for Girls, a charity that provides scholarships and boxing training for underprivileged girls – isn’t worried about her haters.

She says, “I’m not scared or anything; I’m a boxer!”
