‘As Seen On TV’ Products Turn 25

FAIRFIELD, N.J. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – “As Seen on TV” products are celebrating 25 years in business – but wait, there’s more!

TELEBrands products has sold millions of strange gadgets through infomercials, like the Doggy Steps – tiny steps for dogs to easily get up and down – and the Fish Pen – a fishing rod shaped like a pen.

The kooky company is celebrating their silver anniversary this year, and founder A.J. Khubani is looking back on their weirdest work.

He says, “We’ve been coming up with great gadgets over the past 25 years, and I want it to continue. There’s certainly been stuff I’ve been in awe of, but others I thought were stupid. Like the Audubon Singing Bird Clock, that has a different bird singing each hour. It sold $100 million though, so I try to keep an open mind.”

The latest product Khubani is selling on the small screen is the PedEgg foot file, which he says is so popular, thieves stole an entire tractor trailer containing $180,000 worth of PedEggs in Keller, Texas, this past Sunday night (May 4).
