Beer Pong Isn’t Just For College Kids

LA MESA, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The elderly love drinking games.

Beer Pong is a drinking game where teams bounce a ping pong ball into cups filled with beer, forcing a member of the opposing team to drink.

The drinking game is most popular with college kids, but has gained popularity with old folks.

Ron Rader, spokesperson for the San Diego Beer Pong League, says, “Some old people come in and play a pick-up game. They like to shoot and play with the youngsters, and they can drink better than a younger person.”

Seniors will get the chance to show off their skills, and raise money for Crohn’s disease, at the San Diego Beer Pong Tournament this Saturday (Apr. 19) and Monday (Apr. 21) at the Cabo Cantina in San Diego, California, where they can use Rader’s recommended strategies to win.

He says, “Distraction is good. When someone shoots, jump around. Some people also say they’re better when they drink, but I’m not sure about that.”
