REO Speedwagon Is Gonna Keep On Lovin’ Tours

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – REO Speedwagon and rockin’ frontman Kevin Cronin will always “Keep On Lovin’” tours.

For Cronin, touring with REO Speedwagon – known for their 80s power ballads “Keep On Lovin’ You” and “Can’t Fight This Feeling” – just keeps getting better as the band gets older.

He explains, “We have loads of fun touring. Our crew of old buddies get together and we become a pack of wandering minstrels. Only now, we’re not sloppy guys anymore. We’re not wasted or high; we’ve already been through that. And we keep the tour bus much cleaner than we used to!”

Nowadays, Cronin enjoys playing concerts because the band just wants to jam, and, in his words, “We have nothing to prove, so we just have fun.”

And the band’s sustained energy, even in their older years, shocks audiences.

Cronin says, “Our fans are surprised that we still put on an energetic show. We love exceeding their expectations so they leave thinking, ‘Holy sht. What just happened?’”

The four-week REO Speedwagon Tour, featuring Styx and Def Leppard, kicks off Thursday (Mar. 27) in Greensboro, North Carolina.

REO Speedwagon’s new album, Find Your Own Way Home, is in stores now.
