Tribute Band Won’t “Stop ’Til They Get Enough” Support For Michael Jackson

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A Michael Jackson tribute band is hoping to restore the King of Pop to his rightful throne.

For the past four years, cover band Who’s Bad has been moon-walking their way across the country recreating the music and moves of the King of Pop.

With M.J.’s 50th birthday this summer, and his Neverland Valley Ranch in financial trouble, Who’s Bad wants to be “Startin’ Somethin’” by donating money from their sold-out shows to support the scandalized, reclusive singer.

Manager and saxophone player Vamsi Tadepalli says, “We’re all about paying tribute to his artistry. He could only be happy seeing us perform.”

Though they haven’t met Jackson yet, it may happen this summer at a concert celebrating the 25th anniversary of Thriller, in which Who’s Bad hopes to play.

Despite the history of Jacko’s wacko behavior, Tadepalli insists “We aren’t associated with the tarnished aspects of his life. We want to help him rise from the ashes.”
